My name is Stefanie. I have rushed my entire adult life. Rushed from a bachelor’s degree to a master’s to a doctorate degree to a postdoc, all while rushing from one country to another. After living abroad for over twenty years, holding a demanding job for over a decade, and raising two small children, I am now living the expat life in a small town in Austria.
Ever since my mum gifted me my first book when I was seven years old, I have loved reading. I discovered the joy of writing later, much later in fact. This is how it started…
A few years ago, I almost bought a plane ticket to escape the overwhelming stress that was consuming my life. I had put everyone else’s needs over mine for too long. I was exhausted and ready to run away from it all. I didn’t buy that plane ticket, but I booked several creative writing workshops. That turned out to be one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Writing has grounded me, empowered me, and reinvigorated me so I could return to my day-to-day life with greater clarity and purpose.
In 2020, I took the next step by enrolling in a writing coach training program at the writer’s studio in Vienna. And now I want to share with you the experience of joy and empowerment that creative writing can bring to your life.
My writing workshops are designed to help you explore your creativity with words. With simple exercises and a warm community, you will find space to relax and experience the joy of bringing your inner voice to life.
